On my '02 V6, the low side port is directly on the compressor, which is at the bottom forward left corner of the engine. I believe your V8 will be the same.

When searching for the low side port, it's actually easier to reach from the front of the car. Measure approximately 14" inboard of the inner edge of the front left tire, and approximately 3.5" forward of the front crossmember. Access is super easy once you realize where the port is located.

hi
on a lot of post 2002 S-types, the ac low side is hehind R/H wheel, looking from the front of the car
so R/H side, lower wheel arch area, behind the wheel, back side of the car, just lie down and look under the car and you should see it
cheers
Joe

Eggsy, where are you located? Is your S-type a 2002 or a 2002.5 (which would make it a 2003 in the States) ?

The last 6 characters of your VIN would narrow things down a bit...

2002.5 starts at M45255

Should be on the compressor, Karl is right again.
