Default Accident after looking at my Jag

Today, rainy day here, I took my girl to her bus station about 3 km from home, and while driving back a guy driving toward me in the opposite lane was looking at the front of my car, did a bit of shift from his path, hit the side of the lane, climbed the isle between the lanes, hit a lightning pole with the side of his car and went directly toward me on my lane almost hitting me, but he was stopped just ahead of me. His car was badly smashed, windows broken, car severely damaged and deformed where the pole hit him. I stopped for help and was almost hit by other cars approaching at crazy speed behind me.
Normally I take photo of such occasions, but this time I felt passively involved and skipped that part. The guy in the car was lucky to get out with bruises only on his legs. His car was 100% lost to my opinion. It was a Commercial Citroen and looked really bad afterward. He said he slipped on the road, but I was driving that section several minutes before and there was nothing slippery there.

I wonder if something like that ever happened to one of you ? It bring a dark and dangerous side while driving a Jaguar...

He was driving towards you, in the opposite lane and you can see that he was looking at the front of your car? Then he had the accident which all happened before he had passed you?

You either have VERY good eyesight or the pair of you were driving at 5mph.

manycars,
If you noted probably, accidents happens very fast and with a lot of aggressiveness and energy. I was clearly seeing his face toward me, then he flipped on the lighting tower and smashed, then stopped. It was a blip of a second in driving time.
It occur to me after your post that I would have to install a front video camera... Probably if I was hit - those questions would arise by the insurance companies.. and anyway - front looking camera provide a lot of good shots those days.

Good to hear it was only minor injuries and the 'victims' were just his car and road furniture.

Bizarre accidents are one of the reasons dash cameras are becoming popular. There has been a recent thread on XK8/XKR about dash cams:
