Now for the brass tacks:

1) What are the OEM spark plugs (2003 4.2 S-Type (non-R))?? My best guess: ACDELCO Part # 41800. Note: I have no interest in the "best" plugs, I just want the OEM plugs.

2) What are the OEM shocks/struts (2003 4.2 S-Type (non-R))? I do not have electric plugs going into the shock towers. Yet, the Bilstein catalog offers too many options: How do I know if I have the "Sport Suspension" or "Standard Suspension" according to Bilstein? Were there REALLY multiple non-electronic suspensions available on the 2003 S-Type 4.2?

These are simple questions that I tried to find myself on this forum: I've had no luck so far. Of course, my wife will testify that I cannot see things directly in front of my face. Even if she's right, please help me out here.

 

NGK. I think IFR5N10 same as STR. Change at 100K miles.

Wires would mean CATS so yours is non-CATS. You can send an email via jag site and ask for the full spec (build details) of your car and get a nice surprise.

Sport suspension is linked also to which wheels and brakes your car came with. I think many (most?) in North America came with the sport package.
