Which adhesive for the heelpad?
Just a minor one but it needs the correct product.
The heelpad started coming unstuck and sliding down towards the pedals last year. The adhesive has had its day.
After washing the heelpad in Fairy liquid and a washing up sponge in the kitchen sink like you do, I need a suitably strong but flexible adhesive to re-stick it.
Can anyone advise on the best adhesive type please?
Must be available in the UK.
Thank you.

I would clean both surfaces as well as possible, allow them to dry thoroughly, and then use an industrial-strength contact cement (the type that is applied to both surfaces, allowed to cure for 5 to 10 minutes, then pressed together). DAP Weldwood makes a top-quality contact cement that I have used for years here in the US. It comes in a quart can, and you brush it on with a small paintbrush....
A month ago or so I just did this. After cleaning it as good as I could I coated the entire bottom with this tube of E6000 Industrial Strength Adhesive I already owned. It smelled bad for about a week, but the pad no longer moves. I do not know if it is for sale outside of the US. Our UPC code is 076818300120.
