Default Air Conditioning Issue

I had my 03' STR in the shop a little while ago. My AC doesn't work very well. Neither side is tha t cold, but the drivers side is colder than the passenger side. The dealer tech said I need a new water heater valve. About $850 to replace. I found the part online for around $110.00, but where the heck is this thing and how hard is it to replace myself?

What year?

Just did our '01 dccv today. it is the 5 hose variety, which was a pain in the rear. The front 3 hoses were easy with them being quick disconnect but the back 2 hoses on the valve sucked. A 1/4 inch ratchet helped to get the 1 bolt out in the tight spot. it was easier to take the unit out with all the hoses attached but still really tight even sliding it out.

Would of filmed it but did not think anybody wanted to watch some guy spewing profanity every 10 minutes.
