I have noticed that there is an air leak from a pip coming from the engine or something like that as displayed in this picture..



will there be any complication facing me due to this air leak ??

i left it form 5 days without fixing it and now im getting Restricted Performance message and my gear stuck.

can anyone please tell me what is this part for, its name and where can i get it from.

That is a PCV vent tube. As you can see it goes from the TB to the rear drivers valve cover. Call Nalley Jaguar in Atlanta, Mike or Dan will fix you right up! Mention you are a forum member and get 15% off.

 

Heres a view without the plastic cover, its the purple line shown.

 

Just noticed while you are ordering the PCV tube better get a new black plastic cowl screw cover! Look at the passenger wiper, where it bends look down you are missing that cover.

Nahhh I just use paint. Joyce has mentioned that she'll teach me PP but we haven't had the time.


I know I have a picture on this puter with the part number, but I cannot find the darn thingy.... I had purchased 1 for Joels vehicle back in Feb. when I wrenched on his '03, Scott Jaguar was $5.00 for the part. I will look harder!
