Hi all my 1999 S type SE has all of a sudden developed a fault with the alarm!
It will blast the horns for no known reason!
I work night shift & got home at 4.45am buy at 7.10 boom double horns beep beep beep which obviously would upset my neighbours.!!

Any advice,? I think I can take our a fuse but would like to know if I can get to the cause?

I've taken the fuse number 28 which was listed as Securiti horns in my manual , I wonder what could have caused the problem? could the battery be low? I've read they must be kept fully charged.

 

My alarm has been going off the last few weeks too, was thinking maybe the same thing as you. Battery?
