DLC Connectivity Issue
Hey Everybody,
I just got done doing a massive tune up on my car. No more check engine lights and it feel great. However, I have a very unique issue going on.
For some reason most OBD machines are unable to get a read on my car. The only ones that have worked so far are two SnapON tools from two different shops which I had to inconveniece everyday for about a week straight while I chased and cleared codes.
Here's where it gets interesting. I just purchased an iCarsoft i930 LRII this week and am able to clear codes and get live readings from all modules and sensors. This leads me to believe that there is communication with the ECU. However, for some reason I am not able to get DTC's. Everytime I request the codes, it says error in communication with ECU. How can that be?
-Battery Voltage is 12.4.
-60 ohms resistance between pin 6 and 14.
-2.6 voltage on pin 6.
-2.3v on pin 14. (.2 less than stated)
One Jaguar shop foreman told me it could be that the SnapOn tool works because its self powered... I feel like if that was the case then my scanner wouldnt be able to communicate at all.
On last thing, I do have a starter interrupter installed in my car which i thought might be stealing needed power but the pins say otherwise.
Need to pass DEQ on the 12th and I'm running out of ideas..
Thanks in advance!

JagV8,
Thing is, I've tried all the OBD readers from the local car parts stores. AutoZone, Napa, O,Reillys, Baxters, etc. None of them connect. Only the SnapOn yools and my i930 LRII.
