Default Alignment Question

I noticed that my 06 S is wearing the insides of both front tires a bit. The tires are going to need replaced soon anyway. My question is - can a regular tire shop do an alignment on these cars, or , do I need to let the dealer do it. He wants $100 more to do an alignment than the local Goodyear stores do. Appreciate your advice on this.

I had tyres fitted at Big O and they also set the alignment, I had the same problem with inner edge wear.
I got info from this site on the Jag reccomendation to avoid this and printed it out for Big O, the manager checked with their service which still showed the same spec he had used initially.

The reset my alignment using the "new" spec and so far all is well.

The manager was going to try and find out why they did not have the modified spec from their service.

So, to answer the question I am sure Goodyear can do the job but you may have to provide the setting info for them to follow.
