Default AMG downsizing help

I have a 2004 e 55'amg. Pulley tune. Insane fast. 11.8's on demand. That being said we just bought a vacation property. I found a great deal on an s type r and a low mileage Camry for the same price of my car.. That being said. I'm looking at a 2.5 pulley tune and intake. I'm looking for mid 12's. The AMG is insanely fast and don't need to run 11's. It's the only car I have ever had that I didn't want more. The 2 cars for the same price is way better. What can this car do modded? School me

you are going to need a LSD and NOS or a twin screw to pull mid 12's in an early STR.
later models have vvt witch might help .

with out vvt early 13's are do-able at about the cost of a clean camry in small mods .

have a flick through this old thread to get an idea

it's a 2004. I drove the car for a while. It feels like a lower 13 second car. It would give my former ls cars a run for sure. I talked to my tuner. He said that with the 2.5 pulley intake and tune he has seen 12.8-13.0. Not sure if I'm going to buy it yet. Hard to believe they are down to 6k.

There's just no demand for the S-Type these days and that's one reason why they now sell for peanuts even when still in relatively good shape. The other primary reason is the fact that despite Ford ownership vastly improving the build quality through the end (2008 model year), Jaguar's infamous reputation of unreliability continues to haunt the marque....
