Hey all,
This is not in my manual at all on my 2005 S-Type 3.0L. I looked and looked. But, what are these hash marks below the "auto" headlight setting on the lights/turn signal stem?
I thought they might be the HID lamp intensity adjustment, but rotating it to the hash marks do nothing on the brightness of the bulbs.
looks like I need more educating.
Thanks!!
this is the time after which the lights go out after removing the key. After setting to individual positions, the instrument cluster display will show a delay time.
Thank you again guys ! Learning something new every day.
Btw, found this pic of a 1966 S-Type (or so) and I just love the old time looking front end that my '05 has the look to. I just hope no one try's to steal my hood ornament.
Three settings on the rotary collar set the time that the headlights will remain on after the key is removed from the ignition switch:
• 10 seconds.
• 30 seconds.
• 2 minutes.
Note: If the light switch rotary collar is in the AUTO position there will be no exit delay and the headlights will turn off when the ignition is turned off.
Mellow
