Default 2005 S-Type Broken Headlight Manual Adjusters

I have broken manual adjusters on my 2005 S-type so the lamps dont seem to move when the adjusters are turned. Is there a way to fix this issue without shelling out $1500.00 a piece for a new R and L assembly?

I hear that this issue is fairly common.

Thanks!!!

Default It didn't seem to work

I don't think I have the same assembly. My lights are HID...if that matters.

The manual mechanisms are on the top of the headlight assembly.

I have taken some pictures but I am having trouble uploading them.

Watch this video and skip to 54 secs. If your headlights move like I describe on the second headlight do the screw method in the video. If they are tight like the first headlight report back.

Follow the newbie instructions to be able to do that.

Also, read the existing threads (which do apply).
