Two of my wheels are shot beyond refinishing. Are there any good places to buy replacement ones besides Jag?

Just called the first place. They don't have them in chrome or alloy finish. Onto the second place that is more than double. Any other places out there?

Finished beyond repair? I find that hard to believe. There are a great many places in So Cal that can completely redo a rim. For example:

Wheel Repair Specialists in Orange County, CA.

I got the rims on my Mercedes fixed there when I was living in Newport. At $120 per wheel, it was a great deal. One of them had been rashed over 60% of the lip and scarred pretty deep. When fixed, the wheel looked like it did when I bought the car. The repairs were completed in 2 business days.

A wheel repair guy looked at the wheels and said that there was it was beyond repair. Too much material was removed from the spokes. The damage occurred when my girlfriend swerved and scraped a freeway wall at 70, so the parts of the wheel that were elevated from the spoke are now dust.

By the way, jag gets 1050 for the front and just under 1100 for the rear in chrome. Total damage to the car, $10250. Almost totaled.

I'll take some photos and get in touch with them. The car's not drivable.

When I called the guy shot down my request super quick like they don't or haven't stocked that part in a long time. I agree, sounded too good to be true but I tried.

I almost should go aftermarket but I'm yet see a pair of aftermarket wheels that were reasonably priced that I liked the looks of. I'm super picky and think most of what I've seen looks like crap...

I just ordered online from the cheap place. They don't have the wheelsin stock so my order will probably get canceled. On my order update, it said, "locating part". Good luck finding it at that price, lol. I'll keep you posted on the happenings.

I think I've heard this story about the wheel supplier before. Hope it works out for you though.

Sorry to hear about the car but I also hope everyone is OK?

Well I'm still desperate to find two wheels. I found a shop locally that does triple chrome plating for $150 a wheel with a 5 year warrantee. So, if I can get a great deAl on so
E takeoffs, I should be in good shape.

Mafioso, did you track down the name of the salvage yard by chance? That appears to be the best deal so far.

Qwicketz, If the wheels are that expensive from the dealer why not put them on the insurance? Even with a $500 deductable it would still be cheaper than finding used.

Can't speak for the availability of other wheels, but they have no Zeus wheels in stock, and haven't according to the rep since 2008.
