I agree with you. I've already got several projects sitting around. If a swap is too much work, maybe Posi can help. Apparently he has done the port work on the fastest cobra m112 setups.

He might be a very reasonable alternative to steig that looks to be increasing their prices.

Did you see what he would charge for our M112's?

I emailed him and asked if he's ever done an m112 for the jag. Most of the porting prices appear to be about $500 but I'm not sure how different the pricing would be on ours.

For Supercharging porting I would recommend Stiegemeier. See what you think. Here is a picture of a Jaguar Eaton M112 he ported. Be aware that porting or changing pulleys will increase the blower whine.

Your best bets are kenne bell(only sells kits not individual blowers) whipple( true compressor like bell but sells individual blowers) or a tvs as close as you can get for efficiency to a screw blower.
They all have 2 rotors or screws depending on the type youre speaking of
a tvs has hi-helix 4 lobed rotors, compared to the mp90-112-122 3 lobed.
A screw blower loke a bell or whipple with develop great power from idle to red line, where as a mag/eaton falls off in the upper ranges due to low ve and high outlet temps. To take full advantage, youll need injectors to flow the hp # and a pump to flow the injectors, plus tune and as avos said some machined/welded fabbed components to make it work. Can be done, but im sure when he said interests, this meens put money up now cause i know from experiance when tryin to get products like this to the table. There alot of talk and ooorah.......followed buy the serene sounds of crickets when a product comes out to market based on promises to buy or time to pay for development
IF YOU WANT BLOWER WHINE CHECK OUT MY YOUTUBE VID WHEN I PRODUCED 305RWHP AND NOW 335RWHP I AM IN THE PROCESS OF POSSIBLY BUYING A WHIPPLE AND MODDING THE CURRENT MOUNT AND SYSTEM TO REACH 375RWHP @10-12PSI

lol, I just got done changing it again. When I went to the track and ran it I did a 15.32 and picked up 2mph on the top end when I pulled the muffler and inserts that were to restrictive. not bad for a V6 5470 pound 4 X 4 truck. I was only a 7psi boost then and thursday found where my other 3psi was leaking at so now Im back up to 10psi. The reason I want to go to a screw SC is all the mentioned items. More boost, less generated heat. power from idle to redline without the roots style power drop off up top or when turning up the boost) and less power to drive the blower at speed. Plus when I fixed the boost leak, my mpg went back to 27 on the freeway, the best I ever pulled stock was 19, 16mpg after lifting and larger tires and roof rack.

I am using the KB 2.1L with a custom made snout for the STR, very tight fit, but doable.

For the XKRs I have just finish of all the parts needed, and can reuse some of them for the Stype.

The only extra piece I would need to make for the STR is the intake elbow part, but that one isn't that difficult. If there is enough interest, I can make a 3d cad drawing and have the part cnc'ed.

To make it all to fit, you still need to modify some parts to make it all fit (very easy), and some welding on the intercoolers is needed, which is straight forward and any machine shop could do this.

Am not in it for the money (just fun), can earn much more and way easier with my daily job, but if there is enough interest I can make the missing part.

Andre.

you don't need a whipple to get 375 rwhp though....

edit... sorry if that was an m90 not an m112.

btw, anyone see the killer chiller? That thing looks awesome and may lead to more hp with the same setup.

Default hello

cordialement
