Figured I'd post this here, I actually made a video too. I've tried several tape adapters and my tape deck kept spitting the tape device out. (tried all the tricks of removing gears etc)
Considering I've long grown out of carting CDs around in my car I decided to do this install which comes at the cost of CD changer functionality.
You lucked out by NOT having the Premium Sound option. In the Electronics section of this forum, someone changed out stock head unit with a double-din aftermarket one, with great results.
BTW, I DID find a cassette adaptor that the stock head unit works well with; it's one made by Monster.
Good Show on the jack. Factory would have been proud!

My initial intent was a double din too, found a couple archived threads on it. Went as far as buying a double din deck, putting the wiring harness together but just couldn’t make it look right in my mind.
