Default Bargain Stainless Exhaust of the Centry

Just fitted my new, second hand stainless exhaust to my 3lt 'S' type.
It was made for a Nissan 300zx and was only in use for three or four months.
My son and I thought it would be useful to make up an exhaust as it looked a very like Jag one. We thought it would take a day and a half of cutting and shutting. So last Sunday, we got her onto the lift and removed the old pipes.
We fitted the new front pipes/cats that I had already bought, as I new from the last MOT that one cat was breaking up.
Up went the two rear boxes. Great! the rear hangers were in the right place. We used cable ties to hold the front. You know that doesn't look far off in the right place I says to my son. So we lift up the cross pipes..........it fits!! even one hanger is right! So all we had to do is mount was the two resonator boxes and about 4 inches of pipe. We made new hangers to suit and spread the rear of the cross pipes by about 15mm to make some extra space and hay presto a new exhaust. Took us about 4 1/2 hours, and the best bit what a difference it has made to the car. So much more free reving.....and what a glorious sound!!
MOT next and then an LPG kit.

Oh, I nearly forgot, the cost. 2 front pipes/cats £164. 300zx exhaust £36 on Ebay. So total cost £200!!
