Default Is it safe to use an Oil additive in the STR to stop a leaking rear main seal?

Anyone tried "Bar's Leaks 1050 Rear Main Seal Repair" oil addtive on their Jaguar to seal up the REAr main seal leak?? *LInk http://www.amazon.com/Bars-Leaks-105.../dp/B001BSGJK0

I heard many good things about this product, but I'm a little iffy on using it on the STR, can someone please chime in and give some suggestions on using an oil additive such as this one in the Jag? I seriously don't want more problems than the one I have already

Thanks,

I wouldn't use it. If it works like their coolant leak products be pepared for plugged up oil passageways. If it leaks bad, replace the seal would be my recommendation. buyer beware, YMMV
good luck, VMV
