Default Battery removal

Hi, I am trying to replace the battery on my 2005 s-type and the screw/bolt on left hand side which secures the battery to the tray will not budge. Is there a technic to this removal or is it just rusted in

Rusted in, be very careful the bolt is thin and looks like it would snap off easily. Maybe apply heat to it from underneath.

Thank you gentlemen, managed to get it out, but what a struggle. Fancy exposing threaded metal to the elements. Must think the bateeries will never need changing

When re installing use some never seize (or similar product) on the threads so there most likely will not have corrosion problems.
