What does it call it?

I don't actually see how it helps, since it's so trivial to read it with a meter as he has done...

(ETM will also show volts but again I can't see how it's any more use than the meter.)

I have checked voltage of alternator with a multimeter at the battery
Monday I will test the alternator direct by using it to see if the values are the same.
Will let you know what I find
