Default Bent rear axle?

I have some obvious uneven tire wear on the inside of the tires. The left is horrible. I am glad I noticed this before driving it anymore. I have put 5000 on the car since I bought it. I know it was in a prior rear end collision.

Would you all guess bent axle? Also, if soooo... what kind of cash am I going to drop.

Bent axle is unlikey as the wheel would wobble violently as you drove. Looks like bad alignment, most any shop could adjust or find the root cause, maybe a wonky bushing.

I don't think its possible to bend the rear axle, even if you did it wouldn't cause wear like that. It looks like a lot of negative camber wear; I would suspect either a bent strut or more likely the alignment has not been set to proper specifications.

Off for an alignment chap. Check bushings and tie-rods along the way.

If all suspension parts are in order, read this for your alignment specs:

I have a feeling though you may need to replace a few suspension parts first.
