I thought it was 69.5l.......

I don't know what happens if you overfill on the S-Type but on some cars you damage the EVAP canister

On others the excess petrol (gas) ends on the ground

well i didn't do it on 1 tank, i averaged 26.5mpg which i think was good seeing as it was raining hard and the are lots of steep winding mountain roads.

The farthest I have gone between fillups is 478 miles. I;ve had lots of tankfills over 400-450 miles. I could probably go over 500 miles if I knew for sure where the next gas station was.

I live in the foothills of the San Gabriel mountains. I keep the tires slightly overinflated by a pound or two. On a couple of streets, going downhill towards town, I can coast quite a ways or with just an intermitant touch of the gas peddle. On one street, if I hit the lights right, I can coast about 2 miles.
Conversely, going back home and uphill, I notice that I don't need to "push" the gas peddle too much because of the reduced rolling resistance.

I run 40psi, as i was used to low profiles on my previos car.
