Default Bilstein shocks with H&R springs???

Just wondering if anyone had this setup up. I was reading another thread and they said that Bilstein is one of the best OEM replacement shocks for our car. I know that there are standard and sport shocks. I was looking into the sports. I have the part# for the sports Bilstein. I also want to lower the car using H&R aftermarket springs. I went to tirerack site and they have the springs. They also have Bilstein shocks there as well but they are a different part number.

Bilstein Shocks (Sport)
front - 24-067430
rear - 24-067720

Here is the link to tiretrack with everything.

I pulled those Bilstein part# from a thread earlier in the year. Tirerack site is current.

You are aware that the OEM shocks & struts are Bilsteins, right?

I was thinking of this for my 03' ST-R as the CAT's shocks are done, these do however ride a bit lower than most other options out there (from what I've read at least). My car is 98% freeway driving so I'm leaning towards Arden springs and sport shocks, seems a good compromise between comfort / performance and $$$. Just my .02....should be a bit easier to maintain the alignment within spec's as they do not drop the car as low etc. Nonetheless, google those Bilstein #'s as tire rack can charge a bit of a premium outside of tires.

I know bilsteins are OEM replacement shocks. I saw that they have Bilsteins B4 standard and sport. I also saw on another site B6 HD. Any input on those. Are they work the $100 bucks? Also since I want to lower my car on lowering springs B8's are recommended for that. I read on another forum that a guy had lowering springs with B8's and said that his car was extremely bouncy.
just seeing if anyone knows anything about that setup.

I have Bilstein V8 sport struts with H&R springs. It rides firm but not harsh; I wouldn't even call it remotely bouncy, even with low profile 19" tires. I like the setup and the car rides and handles great with good feedback.
