Knock sensor !!

This does not look like its going to be fun...Ive tackled alot pf projects ...but yikes.
I see there is a guide though... 44 pages.

I also see alot of chatter about some hose under the SC thats prone to leak. Seems thats something I should replace while im in there yes??
Anyone know the part number off hand?

any other tips is highly appreciated

 

Definitely replace that hose if you have the sc off. It's a $50 part with $1000 worth the labor to do it normally. Mine started leaking at 38k so it can and will fail at anytime.

 

+1 Yep, it would be a good time to re-hose under the blower.

 

Be sure to check but the hose may be AJ8 9746
