Burning up in Ohio AC wont work, Rad fan no High
I am having issues with my heator control on my 2004 S type Jag 6 cyl. AT first I replaced the external ambient temp sensor as the readings on the Climate control screen were way off. This seemed to fix the ambient temp issue. My next issue was the ac did not put out cold air, and the rad cooling fan no longer kicks on high when the AC is turned on. I do think I have a bad Dual climate control valve. I can reduce the hot air by putting a pair of vice grips on the main feed to the valve. The ac will run you out when going down the highway, but in town forget it. My question is.....why is the high speed rad fan not kicking on when ac is on?? How do I test this?? I will be replacing the control valve but wanted to tear it apart once to fix all.
Any and all help and suggestions would be deeply appreciated.

I do not have any answers for you but I have a little information that might help. I do know that the system is equipped with a pressure sensor that when the Freon pressure is low the compressor and fans will not cut on. This is a diagram of an xk8 but the same on an s-type. Try this link for additional info http://jaguarclimatecontrol.com/ I hope this helps!
Gus,
Thanks for the info, I did take it to a shop and they checked the AC, its full and charged. Its cools like a champ going down the highway, just in town or sitting it does not since the rad fan does not come on.
