Can't Find an 2003 S-Type R Wheel?
Hello,
I've been scouring the net trying to find a replacement front wheel for my 2003 S-Type R, but sources I have contacted have not been able to locate one. I just found out mine is bent. New from the dealer will be my last option, but I would prefer tofind nice, gently used one for 1/3 the price.
I have mainly checked online wheel stores that list the product but actually go out to try to find it when they get the order.
I don't know of any parts guy who has everything, or some other forum when I may be able to find it, and that is why I am here.
If anybody can point me to some sources that can help me get a wheel, I would really appreciate that.

Hey tommy you ever think about using your spare tire which should be the same rim if I'm not mistaken? These guys usually have the best prices on rims and they are all reconditioned meaning they clean them up to a like new state...Detroitwheelandtire...They only have the vulcan which you have the zeus 18" right? Check often though they usually get them often...

aquill1, thanks for the quick reply. My spare is just a bright red wagon wheel thing. I think it looks kind of cool with the quartz paint, but I man, is it bright! I did see that listing, as well, on eBay, but I will keep my eye on them. Thanks for the tip!

Little higher Aq, the Vulcan...$325 BIN. Still, cheaper than $450 at mylinky.

Jaguarparts.com shows to have them, but pricey. The front is $50 cheaper than the rear. ouch still...

I actually did order from Automotix, but it has been nearly 2 weeks, and they still have not located one.
Jaguarparts.comdoes look promising! Pricey compare to the refurbished I was looking for, but it is probably new, which reduces risk. Also, it looks like a bargain compared to the dealer cost, so I will feel like I am actually saving 250 bucks!

You ever think about finding some type of aftermarket instead? I mean if you can't find one for a decent price...I wouldn't pay more than $500 bucks! After that I'd just go buy a set of aftermarket wheels and sell the stock 18's or hang onto them...LINK...$255 a wheel ain't bad and they are 18" chrome...Be 1600 for rims and tires/general exclaim uhp...I'm not for sure what size tires/rims come on the str though...These wheels would be 1196 w/out shipping for 4 rims/tires but not chrome 18's they are silver and thats with the same tires...the generals get a really good review on them...
This is just a suggestion if you feel the urge to spend more than $500 bucks on one rim you might as well get a whole set for around 1300 shipped!
