I currently raise two kids that are not mine and have a baby that is 6 months old..So, I think I'm kinda wise to what it costs to do things...but maybe not....

Dude, before making a statement, you should check the facts.

Quebec is not Ohio. Not even the same country. We have no fault here. Rates for teenagers are very high. There were so many at fault accidents here involving young drivers that we now have graduated licenses.

You maybe wise as to how things work there but, obviously, not as to the way they work here.

Example (pertinent one): My 18 year old nephew was quoted $8,270 per year on his Mazda RX8.

You have no experience with insurance rates in this country so please do not present yourself as being wise as to what they should look like.

There is the old adage; "It is better to be thought a fool, than to open your mouth and remove all doubt."

I pay the equivalent to US$570 for the year, including breakdown cover. I would love to see pictures of the new Jag, CSN.

I'd like to see a couple of pictures too.
The bickering over insurance rates is getting old and is completely pointless, we all probably just need to agree to disagree.

I definitely concede to foolishly making comparisons without taking into account differences in international policy...I also concede that "when poked with a stick" I will react. That said....Norri is dead on.
