Default CCM Repaired

My 03 STR came with both a burnt DCCV and CCM, giving a mixture of heat and cold. This summer has been particularly humid. I'm also curious as to why I waited two summers to have the CCM repaired, except to admit to begin with; I'm not much an A/C guy. Today, AREA 51 Custom Auto (Cortlandt Manor, NY) soldered burnt tracers and replaced one burnt transistor...Wah La! Admittedly, it's nice to have a properly working A/C for todays wet/humidity. They charged only $129! In comparison, Jag would've swapped in a $1500 CCM. Area 51 will advize on an I-Pod connection which doesn't involve FM modulation (radio set to a specific frequency). Many thanks to this forum for insight to what plagued the faulty A/C prior to it's eventual repair.

That's good news.
For the record do you have the navi and remote module or the in panel one?

Hi SeaRanch. I'll keep you posted as to the logistics, etc. of an I-Pod connection.
