I have a s-type 4.0 from 2000. I was wondering if there are any that can help me.
My navigation is to the CD and I would like to have DVD. Is it possible to replace the CD-reader with a DVD reader from a newer model, without that I need to change it all, will the connection fit from the CD reader to the DVD reader, or is it a different system.

You can't use the later version as it uses optical fibre and a different set of modules. Would be easier to get a TomTom or the like.
