Here's my problem. Sometimes when I get in and start my S Type R Supercharged it will give me a Restricted Performance signal on my dash. If I give it gas during this time it acts like it has vapor lock. It usually goes away after about a half mile of normal driving but if I pull into a parking lot it sometimes comes back on. I have a code that apparently is broad in nature from what I've seen... It is P0171 and says that I am either Lean or Rich. Anyone have any easy fixes?

You do not mention how many miles/kilometres are on this vehicle, so you can begin by checking fuel trims on Bank 1. You may have a faulty fuel injector or possibly a vacuum leak.

 

It has 78xxx and is 12 years old.

 

P0171 is lean - there are tons of threads with advice, basically start with fuel trims.
