Default Charge air cooler

Hi have a leak, looks like coming from charge air cooler, whatever that is 😀 . I have 1999 v6 3L petrol Sport. Im trying to follow manual to remove radiator, but looks like only model with charge air cooler was 2.7L Diesel. Anyone else come across this? Looked on sng Barratt and other sites , and they all say cooler not compatible on my model.

What is leaking? Coolant? Engine oil? Transmission fluid?

Never heard of a charge air cooler on a normally aspirated engine. IIRC, the early V6 models have an AC condenser and transmission cooler next to the radiator. Having a brain Gary trying to remember if there's an engine oil cooler down there, too.

coolant is leaking, hopefully be able to remove it soon, just looks like charge air cooler, and in same position as it is in the manual. I'll take a look at AC condenser and transmission cooler see if it looks the same. Thanks

...but cant find it in manual, or anywhere in sng barrat parts list, so not sure how to replace it , but guessing it will be attatched to radiator and come out together 🤔🤞

So it was the radiator! Totally mangled at the bottom , what would cause this? Got everything out in one lump, take it the other 2 units are the AC condenser ans the transmission cooler sandwiched in between.
