Chrome trim around rear light units

Default Chrome trim around rear light units

Hi, having just bought my S Type 2 weeks ago i noticed the chrome trim around the rear light unit didnt seem to fit snug, is this standard trim or would it have been added later on, doesnt sit right for my liking.

Aftermarket chrome trim held on by 3M double sided automotive tape. Warning that tape is extremely difficult to remove.

+1. I have those, front and rear (one of the few aftermarket items available for our cars). They do a good job of covering the "seam" on the headlight assembly. With that adhesive, you get one shot to do it right, and the previous owner failed. Done right, it SHOULD fit sung and secure.
