Hi everyone I have the dreaded coolant leakage, and used the uv dye to check. The guilty source points to the expansion reservoir. I intend to remove, then replace the reservoir, which has the level sensor option. Is there a procedure listed to complete this procedure? Any advice would be most welcome.

 

Use the forum search function as it's been discussed many times.

1. Note their position and remove wiper arms with 13mm socket
2. Remove lower windscreen finisher and brace
3. Remove 10mm bolt holding expansion tank
4. Disconnect upper hose to expansion tank
5. Disconnect lower hose to heater pipe
6. Lift expansion tank out noting position and route of lower hose
7. Installation of new tank is the reverse order of removal
