Can anyone tell me where the coolant reservoir is on a 2001 S-Type ?? Im thinking it's at the top right coorner when you lift the hood??

I pulled into my driveway and heard a loud fan noise still going after I shut off the car. I looked at what I think is the coolant reservoir and it was extremely low ( less than a half inch in the reservoir ).. and then took a look at me temp gauge and it has ALWAYS been right in the middle, but today it has shifted just barely over the halfway line The fluid looked pinkish is this correct?? I would assume that I need more coolant if this is the case.. The temp has been 90+ for over 45 days in Atlanta...
