s-type 3,0 2001 coolong fan running when ignition switch is on and engine is still cold. it running all the time and. the engine is stopped and still running, when i turn the switch of the fan also stopped running

 

It's possible that the fan cooling module is shorted...... or a faulty output from PCM causing the fan to stay on. Any warnings on the dash.

 

no warning on dash. I belive the problem has solved, A/C high presurse side was to high. I make a twice A/C long service and then everything is ok.

A/C compressor and dryer was changes about 1 year ago

 

I've been following this thread, curious about the cause. Good find about the high side pressure being too high.

For future reference, can you describe "turn the switch of the fan"? I don't quite follow what you mean. Was that the manual control switch (on the dash) for the fan speed?
