Default cooling system crossover pipe

I have developed a cooling system leak in my 2000 stype v8 with 125000 miles. it is cooming from the pipe assembly to the drivers side head. I removed the assembly and found some deteriation in the plastic flange area. when I removed the assembly the gaskets on both sides seperated. My question is where is the best place to purchase a new pipe assembly and do the come with gaskets included. I was wondering if a lincoln ls part would interchange, thanks

I'm thinking like you that a Lincoln LS cross over pipe will work. Check our forum member Androulakis (George) thread on cross-over Lincoln LS parts.

I did alot of searching past threads, did not find anything addressing my issue. Looked at all vender sites both Jaguar forum and Ebay and no one showed this crossover pipe. Went to our Local Jaguar dealer and ordered a replacement part. $80.00 for the pipe and $15.00 ea for the seals. Will be here by Friday. The dealer had a nice inventory of new Jaguars, I didn"t even get clos to one.

I got a nice suprise when I picked up the crossover pipe from the Jaguar dealer. The part came with seals and a temp. sending unit. Out the door price was 83.00.

Jaguar loves to bundle parts and list them as one part number. The biggest example of this is the 3.0 upper radiator hose, which includes the entire matrix, including the heater core hoses and the thermostat.

If you have a 3.0 I'd do some looking into the corresponding year Lincoln ls parts, generally speaking all the drivetrain stuff is 95% the same and usually cheaper as well as more readily available at your local ford dealer, as well as online.

Take care,

George
