Default Could my shocks be worn out at almost 30k miles?

I have noticed severely degrading performance from the front end when going fast, or hitting dips in the road. It seems like it floats more and more now. Is it possible to have the dampers worn out already? I noticed this precisely after nailing a pothole a few months ago so bad that it actually cracked my wheel. Before that I remember very good performance...hmm?

I would start with the basics first and check the hydrabushes and rubber bushes on the lower control arms for ware or leakage. Then of course the upper control arms for the same.

Earlier this month I was considering a 2006 XK8 convertible which had all four dampeners replaced at just under 20,000 miles. Original owner complained of noises and squeaks on rough roads along with front-end floating. Jaguar replaced all four dampeners under warranty. That apparently resolved the problem....
