Mine is cracked in 2 places on my 04 STR. I figured it was due to sun rot.

Looks like a short run business opportunity for someone who can produce a cost effective carbon fiber one...

Mine was cracked when I got the car and would rattle at particular speeds... A few dabs of araldite seem to have fixed it... It looks OK, not perfect but much better that a crack!!

Hey. Please tell me which shop in Raleigh fixes the cracks acrylic on Jag. I have a 2002 XJ8, she is my baby and beautiful, but cracks are driving me nuts. Please let me know shop. Thx

There are dash crack repair kits on the market ranging from lousy to very good. You'll get the best results from a pro who does this type of repair on a regular basis, though. Auto upholstery and convertible top shops are your best bet. There's a guy here in Raleigh who has owned a shop like this for more than 30 years. His technicians can fix any dash crack to the point of it being completely invisible when they're done. Average cost is about $50, and somewhat more if there are multiple cracks. Well worth it if you plan to keep the mvehicle for a long time....

Yes, me too. A crack to the right of the alarm light.

But that's the least of my worries on this car, believe me!
