Car would crank but not start. Wait 1 minute and it would start and run fine. Last night it died on me and would not start. Reset inertia switch and it sounds terrible. Barely idle, missing and sounds like it has a bad vacum leak. What have I done?

 

What work has been done recently? Is the MIL on? If so, what DTCs are stored?

Have you checked STFT and LTFT for lean conditions?

 

Motor was replaced last July and fuel pump around same time. I apologise but don't understand vehat those things are that you asked. I will learn quickly. Broke down 50 miles from home

Fuel trim sftf ltft. Figured out what they stand for but I have no scan tool to get info. No flashng mil

 

You can purchase an inexpensive Elm327 and use the 'Torque' app on your smartphone to monitor fuel trims and check DTCs that are pending or set.
