Cruise Control Issue
Occasionally my 08 S Type will display "cruise not available" and of course the cruise will not function. Most of the time it works just fine. Anyone ever have the issue, if so what is the fix

It could be your clockspring. This device allows the steering wheel controls to operate as you turn the wheel.
It not too expensive at around $125 and you do have to remove the steering wheel to change it.
Next time you see the message see if you are turning the wheel or not.
Also when the message first pops up see if your horn works. It uses the clockspring to.

Ok thanks, I'll give that a try. the message appears sometimes when I start the car and stays on the entire time the ignition is active. It never comes on while i'm driving.
