Default DCCV Parts Compatibility....

2005 S-Type 3.0....

I'm chasing what may be a pinhole leak somewhere in my cooling system. At nearly 10.5 years old, my factory DCCV is certainly a suspect on my list. My notes from May 2010 tell me that even though many of the aftermarket parts companies' websites indicate otherwise, the Motorcraft YG378 Heater Valve is an exact-fit part for my factory DCCV....

Can those of you who have already replaced your 2003-to-2008 S-Type 3.0 DCCVs confirm that this is indeed the correct part?

Thanks....

Looks right.

For the earlier car (5-port valve) YG-355

That's the one Jon, I think you can find the number in the cross referenced Ford parts thread if you want to check.

Yes, correct. The motorcraft is Bosch, and was an exact duplicate of the oem I replaced. It cost me

LOL, Don't have a clue what happened to the rest of my post!

The Motorcraft branded part was < $80 on eBay.
