Hi Guys-
It's me now in "S"Type. The seam appears to be in a tank that is some sort of plastic, not the aluminum radiator. It runs down the left side of the radiator and is crimped by a metal divice. Short of taking that device off (Looks impossible) there is no way to get to the seam. This engine is new to me and my only frame of reference is pre-90's engines and radiators with the tank on top. Would some type of "Stop-Leak" work?

OK, I have resolved my leak problem the easy way. I am having a new radiator put in next week. I took it to the mechanic that has done all of the work on my BMWs and he specializes in european makes. He identified the cause immediately. There is a rubber O ring seal under the crimp that holds the radiator to the side tank. They normally last about 125K, but mine went at 89K. No other fix than replacement. Total price including coolant and cap $1100.
Thank you for all of your help. I hope this helps someone in the future.
