Default diagnostic scanner

Hello everyone
just wanted to know what is the best diagnostic scanner
For the jaguar
At the moment I use the i carsoft pro
But want to up grade as I'm not happy with it
Would also like to know if there is one that you can re program with
For example I also own 2 bmw e38s
a 740il v8 and a 750il v12
I have what they call a bmw icom a3 scanner done with a laptop which you can re program the excuse with which is great
So I would like to know if there is anything for the jaguar like that

On the other side my 4.2 v8 engine rebuild came to a holt
Once engine was in it fired up straight away
Took car for a quick run went fine until put foot down then got restricted Performance
Did a comparison test 7 cylindecylinders were at 180 psi
one cylinder was at 115 psi
Totally different cylinder from original problem
When I spoke to SNG BARRATT they treated me like a idiot
No help from them at all
Thanking you
Darrol

Default

thinkdiag for most stuff it’s fast and has all the bidirectionals, key programming evap test etc

IDS for reprogramming. if you can’t get a gna600 or a vcm just buy a jlr vci
