Default Did a little suspension work on my car

My S-Type has been clunking for quite some time so Sunday I decided to begin working on eliminating the problems. Yes more than one problem! I replace both rear upper control arms, both rear outer tie rods and tie rod ends front and back and on Monday I replaced all 4 lower shock bushings. I replaced the rear shock bushings with them still mounted on the car but the front I took them off and did them on the bench. Tuesday I took it in for alignment and all was good. I did not think of replacing the front stabilizer bar bushings so I plan to do them shortly. What I did not know is that a TSB S204-08 on the stabilizer bar bushings from vin#m44395 thought I would pass that on.

Went down the road with it today and I was truly surprised with the way the ride felt and handled. I am so glad I made the time to get it done.

Our 2005 S-Type is pushing 75,000 miles and still rides as nicely and quietly as it did when I purchased it in December 2008 with 18,000 miles on the odometer. Sure hope the front suspension holds up well past 100,000 miles....
