I just purchased an 04 Jag S-Type V6, it does have the Nav unit (No Cd / DVD for Nav) I was wondering if my it has bluetooth capability? I can see what looks like a mic on the drivers side dash. Also when I press the phone button on the center dash by the Nav screen it says not fitted with phone??? I looked in the trunk and can see the CD changer, DVD player and an additional box on top of the Nav DVD palyer. There is also another little box by the spare tire as well.

I tried my Motorola Q with a Bluetooth search and it does not detect anything from the car. I was not sure if the Nav CD's / DVDs were required first to activate or load the Nav system before the Bluetooth will work.

If someone could give me some pointers it woudl be deeply appreciated. I am hoping the bluetooth will work without the Nav DVD as I was holding off on getting those fo ra month or so.

I will take a look and see, I know there is a box on top, then the DVD NAV, then a 6 disk cd changer. I dont think there is anything else. I guess I can try to take out the unit on top of the DVD and see if it says motorola on it. I really dont see how anything else coudl fit.

If you have any suggestions, or if someone coudl post a picture of an actual bluetooth module that would be a great help as I see many people liek myself try to figure this out.

Does anyone have a picture of the Bluetooth unit? All I can see in my trunk rack is the CD changer, DVD player, and another unit on top of that (not sure what it is ? )

I would really like to see if my car is set up for bluetooth or not.
