Dome lights
Hey guys. Read a couple threads of problems with dome lights. At first my problem was with car door rubber button. Fixed that and problem came back. For the short term I just removed the bulbs on my interior lights. Will that solve problem of draining battery? Was going to disconnect battery to disengage lights but felt removing bulbs was better temporary solution.
Thanks for any insight.

you are lacking some crucial car information , what year ? is it an S-type ?
2002.5 onwards s-types will go to sleep in about 15mins regardless of the door being open (or the door switch telling the cars modules the car has a door open)
when the car goes to sleep the lights should switch off with the modules .
if the car is not going to sleep there is another issue .
if the car is going to sleep and the interior lights stay on there is a module relay issue .
