I have a 2001 build s-type sport and the left hand door actuator plays up and if we are not careful we get locked out of the car as the door does not unlock so consequently all the other doors re lock.
I have had quotes of up tp $1000 to get a new actuator and have it fitted.

Can I buy an actuator from somewhere, genuine or otherwise, I am capable of fitting it myself, all I need is the part. My dealer says it must come from the uk.

Any Ideas anyone

Others on here have fitted them (Search and see). Even a used part should be OK or try an online parts place.
