Default Double skinned body panel?

I've picked up a door ding on my quarter panel. It's one of those things that once seen cannot be unseen. I've included a picture of the location of the ding.

Can anyone tell me what the body structure is in this area? Specifically, I'm wondering if there's a double-panel that would prevent my paintless dent removal guy from getting access behind the dent.

Thanks
DD

I don’t think it is a double-skinned panel, Doug, or rather I hope it isn’t, because my (also Platinum) S-Type needs exactly the same thing done, but further down the panel towards the rear door “dogleg”. An encounter with my garage door…

I have one in exactly the same spot made by my dad’s butt when he lifted the car a few mm so I could get a trolley jack under it. Yes it is double-skinned there. I plan to use a glue gun style dent puller.

I would think a pro dent removal guy will know how to get the dent out. They can get them out in some hard to reach places. Good luck. The glue gun pullers are hit and miss.
