Hi

Does anyone know if you can remove the drivers door switch pack without removing the door panel.

well i pulled the door panel off , but still cant get to the switch bank

To answer your question on removing the door switch pack, here is the procedure from JTIS (Jaguar Technical Information System):

Graham has nailed it.

It is time consuming to get to that sucker, and much JD was consumed by myself the first time at in on the Silver beast.

Now it is a 10 minute task, TOPS.

IF the weather is COLD, be VERY CAREFUL when pulling that panel off the door, as the White plastic studs WILL snap, trust me.

 

Thanks all , i also downloaded the workshop manual , its very good , ans easy the navigate round .
Window switches all done now both sides , about an hour , both sides all done

 

thank you all , both sides done now , and i replaced the wing mirror
onto the next task now
