Default Eurospare Rotors for 05 S-type R?

Has anyone purchased these rotors for their R? I just ordered a set and the price was good but they look as if they are too big.

The overall diameter is fine, its the friction surface that looks as if it is too big.

I am 90% sure I have Brembo brakes on my R but these rotors just don't look right.

Last 6 of Vin are: N27548

What do you all think?

THANKS FOR ANY HELP!!!

By the way, I measured the front rotors and they spec out a 14".

so by my math:

14" X 25.4 = 355.6 mm

According to your photographs the rotors are brembo. The friction surface only matters if it is too small. Too big doesn't matter however I doubt that it is in fact too big.

If you are changing out the rotors change the pads to Akebono ceramics available at Rock Auto.

Check your emergency brake pads before you dismantle and order accordingly. The emergency pads are more expensive than the ceramics as only Jaguar pads are available.

Good luck...

I think those are abt correct, I just purchased a pair of rear rotors for the r, where didi you order them from, dealer or aftermarket, and if so did they have the emergency brake pads cuz those are over 100 dollars for those alone?

You may want to give the a call. I know on some websites, the Eurospare show a direct fit for the 03-05 str with the brembo brakes but the diameter is wrong. I believe they are for str with the jaguar brakes (06 and on) and its a database error. I think the brembo are 14.3 or 14.6 in (165 mm)

The diameter was right but the rotor pad surface looks too big, I know it is not much to worry about. This is a nice car though, so I want the brakes to be perfect.

I called and they are sending me a different brand and doing a return on the old ones. I will take pictures between the two different new rotors when they arrive.

Thanks for the help guys.

By the way, Anyone using EBC GreenStuff pads? I got the front set for a deal, are they a good all around pad?

Thanks!

Brake Rotors are wrong, I think ccc is right.

I have a picture of both my rotor and one of the ones from the internet and they are different.

Do you guys know where i can find a set of these front rotors other than the dealer. I have a good hookup on Jag parts and I can get the front set for 355.00 for both rotors but I really don't want to pay that much.

Any ideas?

Thank you.

Andy was a very nice guy indeed but his prices are not that good.

For PLAIN front rotors he wanted 465.00 dollars.
At the Jaguar dealer after my "hookup" 355.00 dollars.

Jag dealer it is.

How necessary is it to replace the Emergency brake pads, the ones on my car appear to have a lot of pad material on them.
