Nice! I knew these cars should be close to 150mph. What I loved about it is there was no fuss or issues, it just keeps pulling.

No kidding, I don't know what jaguar was thinking when they gave the S-Type the 'B6-Audi' treatment for the facelift in 05... as if the rear really needed it?

Meanwhile, the front end is what needed the most attention, as that is by far the most polarizing part of the car and probably what turned off most potential customers, just looks too 'designed-by-committee' or another focus-group derived design failure.

By 2003 we had all seen the all new Bentley Continental GT,



Instead of drawing unnecessary inspiration from Audi on the rear-end facelift, Jaguar should have aped the front end of the Bentley CGT as quickly as possible, maybe turned around that much lamented models fortunes for a few more years...

You have so much better cw: S-Type 0.33 vs X308 0.37
. My car at the end of video from 14:29. First 1/4mile 13.55. Slow start because of 41PSI tire pressure - Quaife LSD helps not very much.
